Merciful God, in the name of Jesus Christ, hear my prayer and the prayer of other intercessors who lift up Michelle Knight and all the other women like her out there who are feeling hopeless and unloved. Those whose adolescent and young adult years have been violently yanked from underneath their feet by the hands of the molester and by the hands of the abuser. Speak to their hearts on today and this day forward, oh God. Let them feel your loving arms wrapped around their broken hearts. Dig down in the city of their souls and let hope, healing, and love abound. Let them weep no more because of the atrocities they suffered. Amen.
