God Alone!
Beloved,
God created man and God created woman and who they are as God’s created beings is God’s business – not ours.
As Believers, we can’t change people’s hearts; only God can. We can't change people’s lifestyles and ways; only the Lord is able to do that. We are expected to draw with love, make room in the Body of Christ to show love, and welcome those whom we have drawn in the name of the One who is love. The Word of God - alone - gets it done supernaturally by way of the Holy Ghost; by way of the Holy Spirit. Preach it, teach it, and live it and change will take place. Faith, love, fasting and prayer to a God, who cannot fail - and in the name of JESUS CHRIST - will heal every yielded heart and deliver every willing soul.
Efforts made to produce "cookie cutter" Christians will always fail and only produce those who one wants to see rather than those who God created to be. When new believers repent of their sins and finally accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, the weight of the world is lifted off of them, and they need room to process what they are experiencing as well as a safe place to grow and develop as a “new creature in Christ.” Only God can do that which needs to be done in a person’s life. We are merely conduits in that process and must trust God and His Word to get it done whatever needs to be done.
As I reflect on the events that occurred this past month in August in Charlottesville, Virginia and in the State of Texas, I am hopeful – although sad - and encourage others to have faith in God. Have faith in the One who promises to never leave His children nor forsake them and in the One who knows what we have need of because He cares about us. God will provide brothers and sisters. Trust Him. JEHOVAH- JIREH is our provider!
