Beloved,
Our commitment to God is not always convenient, but it pleases our Father when we have a made up mind to be committed; doing it His way and not ours.
When we commit ourselves to doing it His way, it pleases Him because it takes faith and a surrendered heart in order to do so. To say "no" to those things that we know are not pleasing unto God nor glorify Him, and "yes" to the things that are and do, takes faith. If we remember Jesus and what He did for us on Calvary’s Cross, we can do it! We can be faithful.
Philippians 4:13 lets us know that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! Be encouraged in the things of the Lord, Sisters and Brothers, and just like one man - because he believed and obeyed God - had faith and became a nation, we also can be victorious if we believe and obey God. We also can become all that God has called us to be. (Romans 4:3)
We must stay committed to the Christian call and obey and trust God in all things through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Not wavering. Jehovah-Jireh is not only a God who provides, but - so too - a God who prospers! Have faith... He will do it!
