Although we know that following Jesus is the best decision we could have ever made in our lives - giving us a joy we’ve never known before - we also acknowledge that sometimes it doesn’t feel like it.  Sometimes, in fact, it feels completely opposite; and it is during those times we should draw closer to God.  It is during those times we should remember Jesus and why He came.  As we go through this advent season of celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior, the Gospels are ever so present reminding us of why (John 3:16) and that He came to offer rest to those who are weary and heavy-laden (Matthew 11:28).

Make up your mind today to not allow the devil to cause you to be stressed about anything going on in your life.  Make up your mind to receive life and life more abundantly as promised by Jesus in John 10:10.  Make up your mind to believe that God really does care about you.   “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”  (1 Peter 5:6-7).  “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.  I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
(John 10:10)

Have a blessed and joyful Christmas remembering Jesus is the reason for the season!

Peace & Blessings.
